What you'll learn
- Divide two complex numbers and write the quotient in standard form `a + bi`, by multiplying numerator and denominator by the conjugate of the denominator
- Write the conjugate of any complex number, including the pure-imaginary and purely-real cases
- Compute `(a+bi)(a-bi) = a^2 + b^2` and explain why the result is real and non-negative
- Give the conjugate-pair roots of a real-coefficient quadratic with negative discriminant, including the second root when one is given
