When you’d reach for it
Assigning is not the part that hurts — grading is, and grading a set of thirty by hand is the reason practice gets assigned less often than it should.

How it works

Browse to the standard and pick its task set — no digging through content first, and no assignment that exists before you know what is in it.
Send it to the class
Assign to a class you have set up, and students open it without any further setup on your side.
Read what came back
Marked when it arrives, per student and per problem, so you can see which problem the class fell over rather than which students did.
Why not just ask a chatbot
This one is table stakes rather than a wedge, and we would rather say so. It is here because the other four point at it — the plan names practice, the re-teach names a misconception — and a row that says "assign practice" has to lead somewhere real.
What it does not do
Better to know now than to find out on a Sunday.
Free-response items go through a separate checking path that can need a human eye. Most of our task sets mark deterministically end to end; where one does not, the work waits for you and you are told either way.
Sending to a class needs a class. There is no roster-free version of this the way there is for Exit Ticket.
What it needs: A standard with a task set. Available across Grades 4–12.
