Pilot phase
K12worX is in a pilot phase
That means the curriculum is real and free to use, and the platform around it is still being built. Teachers and classes are using it today. We would rather tell you that plainly than have you discover it.
What is solid
The teaching content — lessons, slides and practice problems across Grade 5 through high school — is finished, reviewed, and free for anyone to use with no account. Students can be assigned work, do it, and have it graded. That loop is what classes use today, and it works.
What is still rough
This is the current list, not a sample of it:
Teachers cannot open a single student’s full picture
A teacher can see how a class did on an assignment, but there is no per-student page gathering everything one child has done. Parents and tutors have that view; teachers do not yet.
There are no written guides for students
We have walkthrough guides for teachers, tutors and parents, and none for students — the people most likely to need one. Students should expect to be shown the product by their teacher for now.
Two of our “needs attention” thresholds are unproven
The numbers deciding which students we flag to a teacher were chosen by us and have not been validated against real classrooms. Treat the flags as a prompt to look, not a verdict.
We also fix things that turn out to be wrong. In October 2026 our AI grader was marking written answers more strictly than it should have; we corrected it and told the affected teachers. Our grades are practice feedback, not official records, and a teacher can always change one.
What this means for your students
Nothing about a pilot means your class is an experiment. We are not testing anything on students — we are running a product that is not finished, and saying so. Student work is not used to trial teaching methods against each other, and the content a class sees is the same content anyone can read for free.
Tell us when something is wrong
The fastest way for a pilot to stop being one is for people to tell us what broke.
