F 704. Exhibit knowledge of unit circle trigonometry
G 701. Use relationships among angles, arcs, and distances in a circle
F 705. Match graphs of basic trigonometric functions with their equations

What you'll learn

  1. Convert between degree and radian measure in exact form, in either direction, including measures such as 75 degrees that do not reduce to a landmark angle and radian measures given without pi such as 2 radians
  2. Define one radian as the central angle that subtends an arc equal in length to the radius, explain why the measure carries no unit symbol, and derive pi radians = 180 degrees from the circumference
  3. State the radian measures of 30, 45, 60, 90, 180 and 360 degrees on sight, and reconstruct any forgotten entry from the fits-into-180 pattern
  4. Identify an angle's unit from its notation, and evaluate trig functions in that unit
