Goals / Objectives

Read a decimal number to thousandths aloud using correct number names, using "and" to mark the decimal point

Write a decimal number in base-ten numeral form when given its number name or expanded form

Express a decimal number in expanded form by decomposing each digit as a product of the digit and its place value

Translate fluently among the three representations: base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form

Compare two decimals to thousandths by reasoning about the value of digits place by place from left to right

Record the result of a decimal comparison using the symbols >, =, and <
